DIY 5-Gallon Bucket Taiko Drum!

Put some rags in the bottom to dampen the sound a bit

Creating a pad using a paper plate and a rag to absorb the hits and hopefully make it last longer.

Use 2nd paper plate and some tape to finish pad.

Start with a layer of packing tape over the top.

Do a layer of duct tape, then start taping the pad in the center with more duct tape.

2 more layers of duct tape. Then zip tie around outside. I added some scrap rope for asthetics!

Done! Just need some real Bachi to practice with!
